TWG ANNOUNCES 2008 EMBASSY INTERN - TETYANA PODOBINSKA
Tetyana Podobinska is the new intern in the framework of the Washington Group’s Fellowship. Her big interest in international relations and foreign policy of Ukraine brought her to the internship at Ukrainian Embassy in Washington, DC.
Tetyana was born in Rivne, Ukraine and graduated from Volyn’ National University, Lutsk, Ukraine, majoring in International Relations. During her study she was selected to participate for one year in an exchange program with the United States of America. There she studied at the Utica College, Syracuse University, NY, majoring in International Studies. Currently Tetyana is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Leipzig (Germany) and Vienna (Austria) Universities majoring in Global Studies. Tetyana is a recipient of the Erasmus Mundus Program, sponsored by the European Parliament. [click here to read more]

WHAT:
The Washington Group, in conjunction with the U.S.-Ukraine Foundation, the U.S. Ukraine Business Council, and the Ukrainian American Environmental Association, is hosting a panel of speakers who will discuss options for Ukraine to become energy independent, including energy efficiency, renewable energy, fossil fuels, and nuclear power. The purpose of the discussion is to explore sustainable energy options for Ukraine and raise public awareness on the energy issues facing Ukraine today.
