Millennium Challenge Account Meeting

The Millennium Challenge Corporation will hold a public meeting to discuss its selection methodology and criteria on Wednesday, March 10, 2004 from 10:00 to 11:30 am at the Department of the Treasury.

Under Secretary of the Treasury for International Affairs John Taylor will host the meeting and Interim Chief Executive Officer of the Millennium Challenge Corporation Alan Larson will describe the recent report to Congress of the selection methodology and criteria to be used by the Corporation for fiscal year 2004. Members of the MCC staff will be available to respond to public comments and questions.

Those wishing to attend should provide their name, organization, telephone number, date of birth, and social security or passport number by e-mail with the subject line of "MCC Public Meeting" to:  mailto:publicaffairs@do.treas.gov

Guests should enter the Treasury by the Pennsylvania Avenue entrance from the 15th Street side and bring with them a piece of photo identification.

The attached pdf file contains the invitation and a copy of the report sent to congress. For a 30-day period beginning on March 5, 2004, the Millennium Challenge Corporation will accept public comment on the eligibility criteria and methodology contained in the report and will consider such comment for purposes of determining eligible countries.
