SVITLO  I  SPOVID - LIGHT AND CONFESSION:

WHAT:
As part of the Kennan Institute/Harriman Institute Ukrainian Literature
Series, co-sponsored by TWG, Taras Chubai, an author from Kyiv, will discuss "Svitlo i Spovid:

Light and Confession."  Singer-songwriter-poet Taras Chubai was born in Lviv in 1970. As the son of dissident poet Hryhoriy Chubai, he launched his
career by composing music to his father's poetry. In addition to writing his
own poetry, his songs feature the works of Ukraine's leading contemporary writers.

There will be a reception prior to the event at 5:30 p.m.
