Briefing:  Cleaning Up Corruption in Ukraine

Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty invites you to a briefing "Cleaning up Corruption in Ukraine" by Roman Kupchinsky, Coordinator of Corruption Studies, RFE/RL, Inc.

Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko's point men for cleaning up crime and corruption during the Kuchma regime have begun moving rapidly. A number of investigations have begun and more are on the way. RFE/RL analyst Roman Kupchinsky will discuss these cases and describe what might come next.

Roman Kupchinsky graduated from Long Island University in Brooklyn with a degree in political science. Kupchinsky was the president of Prolog Research and Publishing Corporation in New York prior to joining RFE/RL, where he was director of the Ukrainian Service from 1991-2001.
