Ballet: Swan Lake, Featuring Maxim Beloserkovsky

Maxim Beloserkovsky is Prince Siegfried in American Ballet Theatre's staging of Petipa/Ivanov's Swan Lake at the Opera House of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Maxim Beloserkovsky trained at the School of Dance in Kiev. From 1990 to 1991, he was a principal dancer with the National Opera of Bulgaria. From 1991 to 1994, he was a leading soloist with the National Opera of the Ukraine, and while with this company was awarded the title of “etoile” in 1992. With the National Opera of the Ukraine, Beloserkovsky toured Japan, Canada, Mexico, France, Germany, Spain, Hungary, Romania, India and Egypt. In 1993, he was honored by the President of the Ukraine for outstanding artistic achievement.
