Art Exhibit: Life on the Edge

"LIFE ON THE EDGE - HALF LIVES & HALF TRUTHS OF CHERNOBYL":

Gabriela Bulisova's Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibit, photographs taken in 2003 (on an Irish Chernobyl Children’s Project medical convoy delivery to Belarus) and 2004 (in Belarus and Ukraine, as part of an on-going book project to mark Chernobyl’s 20th anniversary in 2006) in the regions hardest hit by the Chernobyl nuclear catastrophe that began in 1986. Some of her photos were taken in the same orphanages and hospitals featured in the film “Chernobyl Heart,” which won the 2004 Oscar for “Best Short Documentary.”

Exhibit runs through Sunday, April 3
