Harmonia Concert

Harmonia's music is intense, driving, lyrical roots music from Eastern
Europe, with a repertoire drawing on Gypsy, Hungarian, Romanian, Croatian,
Ukrainian, Slovak and Carpatho-Rusyn traditions. Performing with the ensemble
are: Walt Mahovlich on accordion, Alexander Fedoriouk on cimbalom, Marko Dreher
on violin, Andrei Pidkivka on folk flutes (sopilka, panflute, tilinca), Adam
Good on string bass, and vocalist Beata Begeniova. Their latest CD, "Harmonia:
Music of Eastern Europe" was selected as a pick of the month by the Utne Reader.
