An Evening of Organ MusicFriday June 11, 2004 at 7:30The NoVA Chapter of The American Guild of Organists Event Four organists present "An Evening of Organ Music". One of the participants is Pavlo Stetsenko. Pavlo Stetsenko was born in Kiev, Ukraine. He studied piano and choral conducting at Gliere Music College and graduated from Kiev Conservatory with a Master's degree in Piano Performance. In 1991 he came to the US to study organ at the Juilliard School, where he first received his Master of Music degree in Organ and a few years later graduated with a doctorate. Since his American debut, he has appeared as recitalist and soloist in numerous venues including Alice Tully Hall and Paul Hall in Lincoln Center, Organ Concert Series at Columbia University, The Keyboard Series at Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church, The Church of St. Mary the Virgin, the Cathedral of St. John the Divine -- all in New York City -- the University of Salisbury (MD), the Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago, and many others. Currently, Dr. Stetsenko is Director of Music Ministries at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Alexandria, VA. Westminster Presbyterian Church
