Not To Be Forgotten Museum ExpositionThursday afternoon, April 10th through Friday April 11th, 2003"Not To Be Forgotten" - A Chronicle of the Communist Inquisition in Ukraine 1917-1991 -- a Museum Exposition, will be exhibited at the Ukrainian Catholic Shrine of the Holy Family, 4250 Harewood Road, NE, Washington, D.C. from Thursday afternoon, April 10th through Friday April 11th. A grand opening of the exhibit will be held on Thursday evening at 6:00 pm. "Not To Be Forgotten" features 70 large panels creating a pictorial and documentary chronicle of the crimes of the communist regime in Ukraine. Accompanying the exhibition will be Roman Krutsyk, Chairman of the Kyiv City Organization of the All-Ukrainian "Memorial" Society of Vasyl Stus. The exposition contains never before seen materials from KGB archives and unique and shocking photographs that document the tragic events of Ukraine's Soviet past:
"Not to be Forgotten" is on permanent display at the Museum and Research Center of the "Memorial" Society in Kyiv, Ukraine. In February 2003, the exposition was displayed in the Ukrainian Parliament in conjunction with observance of the 70th Anniversary of the Famine- Genocide of 1932-1933 in Ukraine. The exhibit is being shown under the patronage of the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America.
