Harmonia Concert

HARMONIA presents traditional folk music of Eastern Europe, ranging from the Danube to the Carpathians featuring: Hungarian, Slovak, Ukrainian, Romanian, Croatian and Gypsy. Performing on authentic folk instruments, the ensemble's performances evoke the full range of human emotions interspersing brilliant pyrotechnical virtuosity with soulful melancholy and nostalgic yearning. 

Musicians: Marko Dreher - violin; Alexander Fedoriouk - cimbalom; Andrei Pidkivka - sopilka (Ukrainian flute), nai (panflute); Walt Mahovlich - accordion/clarinet; Adam Good - bass; and Beata Begeniova - vocals.

Directions:  Three blocks north of the Capitol Beltway (I-495), use Exit 28A and go north on New Hampshire Avenue (MD 650) towards White Oak. Turn right in three blocks onto Oaklawn Drive. The church is on the near right corner. Turn right into the church parking lot at the bottom of the hill behind the church.
