Scythian Treasures Tour

The Washington Group proudly sponsors a tour of "Gold Of The Nomads: Scythian Treasures from Ancient Ukraine" at Baltimore's beautiful The Walters Art Gallery.

Join The Washington Group on May 13 at 5 p.m. for an exciting tour of the "Gold Of The Nomads: Scythian Treasures from Ancient Ukraine" at The Walters Art Gallery in Baltimore, MD. This major exhibition of over 170 exquisite gold treasures, many only recently excavated, are being shown for the first time in the U.S. The $10 entrance fee includes a full 90-minute tour of this unique exhibit. The group will prepare to begin the tour at 4:45 p.m.

Directions: The Walters Art Gallery is located at 600 N. Charles Street, in the historic Mt. Vernon Cultural District. The museum is a twenty minute walk north of Baltimore's Inner Harbor and downtown business district.

From Points North and South: From I-95 (N & S), exit #53 onto Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard to Druid Hill Avenue. Turn right onto Druid Hill Avenue. Druid Hill Avenue becomes Centre Street. The Walters will be on your left. To reach the main entrance, turn left on Charles Street. The entrance is on the left. To reach The Walters parking lot, continue on Charles Street, turn left on Mt. Vernon Place, then left on Cathedral. The lot is on the right.

From points West and Northwest: From I-83 South exit at Maryland Avenue. Turn left at the end of the ramp onto Maryland Avenue. Travel south on Maryland Avenue (Maryland Avenue becomes Cathedral Street). The Walters parking lot is on the right. To continue to the main entrance, turn left on Centre Street. Turn left on Charles. The main entrance is on the left.
