Embassy Event: Bohdana Filts

You are cordially invited to attend an evening with distinguished Ukrainian composer BOHDANA FILTS, LYUBA SHCHYBCHYK, soprano, OLEKSANDR ABAYEV, violin, MARYNA ROGOZHYNA, piano.

This is Bohdana’s first visit to the United States. She returns to Ukraine on December 14th, 2004. Her long and distinguished career in promoting Ukrainian vocal music for children's choirs, choruses, art songs to words of Shevchenko, Franko, Lesia Ukrainka, Lina Kostenko and Oleksander Oles' and others and works for piano solo, symphonic works have won wide acceptance and recognition in Ukraine, the countries of the Former Soviet Union and Europe.
